Everything you ever wanted to know about the universe…

Motivate Maths have received sponsorship for this event from the Royal Astronomical Society since this is the International Year of Astronomy. They have therefore decided to change the day conference planned for 20 Nov to two 2-hour sessions which we can offer at £30 per session (a whole day for primary schools would normally be £75).

The two dates/times we are now offering are 10.00-12.00 on Nov 20 and 13.00-15.00 on Nov 25. For further details, see http://motivate.maths.org/content/universe-1 and http://motivate.maths.org/content/universe-2

To sign up for a place, go to http://motivate.maths.org/content/bookvc and register your school if you have not yet done so, and then use the link for "Booking a conference from the Conference Programme".

This is a great opportunity for the children to ask whatever questions they want about the universe, astronomy, the solar system, ... and have them answered by an astronomer who is used to working with schools - Lisa Jardine-Wright who is the Schools Outreach Officer at the Cavendish Lab, Cambridge.
