NEW Version of JVCS Desktop videoconferencing tool is launched


The JVCS Desktop client has been available for schools to use as a free desktop videoconferencing application that will work with other H.323 VC endpoints via the Janet Videoconferencing Service (JVCS).


An improved desktop client (ConferenceMe) is now available for download, and will be required for all sessions from 10th April. 


The new features will be:

It can connect through a web proxy.

Share content on full screen.

Control your own audio levels.

If you have an old version of the JVCS Desktop client, just remove the existing software from your computer and then install the new version. Please note the old client will not work after 10th April.
