Mini-book project



Giffard Park Primary school in Milton Keynes did a presentation last week at the E2BN conference about their mini notebooks initiative which other schools may be interested in. All pupils from Yr3 to Yr6 get their own mini-book that is theirs for the duration of their time at the school. They can take them home, on school trips and, of course, use them in school. A minimum contribution is asked for from the parents and then, at the end of Yr6, they get a chance to buy them at a very reasonable cost. Evaluation and research from the initiative have shown that the mini-books have significant positive impact on the progress of the children.
