Dover Castle Writing Project
This project is an opportunity for Years 5 and 6 pupils to visit Dover Castle with Ian Coulson (ASK History Advisor) to investigate and learn about Hubert de Burgh, Williken of the Weald and other famous characters from the past. Following the visit pupils will have the opportunity to web conference and plan their stories with Ian Coulson (ASK History Advisor) and prominent local historians. The aim of the project is to improve pupil's writing and raise their self-esteem. To achieve this target the pupils used Art, History and ICT skills and knowledge effectively to gather information, explore ideas and to creatively apply their imagination.
