Evacuation 2008
Participants can make a gas mask box, interview evacuees and publish their stories on Making the News. This is the second year when pupils can experience the evacuation of children from cities and towns to the countryside as happened to children during the 2nd World War. The host for the Evacuation Project is a working preserved railway that spans the Kent and Sussex Border and upon which evacuees travelled.
