Victorian Children in the Mines Videoconferences
The National Archives Education Service is currently taking bookings for our totally free Victorian Children in the Mines videoconference sessions in June (8th-9th) and November (2nd-4th) 2011 for KS 2 students.
Led by a costumed interpreter portraying a government employment commissioner, your students will play the roles of 19th century children and answer his questions about conditions in the mine where they work using original documents from our collections.
If you're interested in making a booking please call our Onsite Education team on +44 20 8392 5365 or drop us an email at education@nationalarchives.gov.uk.
