School support

There are many organisation out there who are keen to support schools in delivering a more enriched STEM curriculum from primary through to secondary.

STEM Ambassadors – Run by STEM Learning, it is free of charge resource for schools aimed at enriching children’s understand of STEM in the world around them. It involves volunteers from the STEM sector coming to schools and events, bringing with them their excitement  for STEM subjects. STEM Learning – Leading on STEM activities for schools in STEM subjects.

University of Chichester has an outreach STEM program and runs various events through the year (all in our events calendar)

University of Brighton- STEMfest” is a program of activities all geared up for schools around STEM subjects. Hubs include Crawley, Hosham, East Sussex, Lewes. The university also run STEM Sussex – full details can be found here

Big Bang- UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fairs– these events are designed for school children and provide an inspiring day out where they can talk and explore STEM careers with companies, enter competitions, try out new equipment and exhibit their STEM club work. The Big Band Digital fair 2021 is running virtually from 23rd-25th June and is open to all 11-14 year olds.
